Nic Buckingham is an Advertising Associate Creative Director/Art Director with over fourteen years of industry experience. He brings to his role a diverse range of creative skills that enable him to concept and produce ideas for a wide range of commercial and non-profit clients in both traditional and non-traditional formats.
After getting his start at Arnold, Melbourne, Nic moved to Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney. Nic’s career at Saatchis began as a craftsman with a particular interest in typography. After several years, and a secondment to Team One, Los Angeles, he decided it was time to merge his craft skills with his ideas and made the switch to Art Direction. Nic’s design background has enabled him to add an extremely high level of finish to his work, which is a bonus when coupled with great thinking.
Nic continues to work under and learn from some of the region’s best Creative Directors including Ant Keogh and David “Nobby” Nobay. At Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne he was involved in securing an unprecedented five consecutive Campaign Brief Australian Agency of the Year titles. Most recently, Nic has taken a role as an Associate Creative Director at TBWA Chiat Day in Los Angeles, California.
